Mobile Forensics World 2009
Control-F Managing Director Kevin Mansell was again invited to speak at Mobile Forensics World in Chicago where his presentation “How Big Is Your Iceberg” aimed to help phone forensic examiners answer two key questions:
- How much potential evidence might there be within device X?
- What proportion of it am I seeing with my current tools and techniques?

The conference was well attended by over 150 phone examiners from around the world as well as a wide range of tool vendors. The presentations included an excellent insight into the forensic challenges presented by iPhones (courtesy of Jonathan Zdziarski) and Android devices (thanks to Andrew Hoog); devices which are going to be appearing more and more on the desks of phone examiners in the coming months.”
